EM403: The new therapy for patients with Parkinson's disease: the multidisciplinary approach - III MIRT National Congress

Parkinson's Disease is an extrapyramidal and neurodegenerative syndrome and is the most common of the movement disorders. In recent years there has been a steady increase in incidence with increasingly earlier onset. The expression of this disorder resulting from the interaction of motor and non-motor symptoms can be extremely variable and make patient management very complex.

A growing number of scientific studies testify to the effectiveness of multidisciplinary care so that early diagnosis, proper pharmacological management and “tailor-made” rehabilitation treatment are effective in managing symptoms and improving quality of life. This conference aims to be an opportunity for researchers, physicians and rehabilitators of great experience to meet and discuss to present an example in the care of the patient with Parkinson's Disease.
