EM304: Workshop - Rehabilitative complications in cancer patients: how they impact physical exercise

When we talk about exercise oncology it is good to consider a series of complications that can arise as a result of surgical and medical treatments aimed at cancer treatment. These complications, often pertaining to rehabilitation, can also affect the prescription of exercise and the execution of some specific activities.

On this day we will consider an overview of the most common complications of rehabilitation interest in the most common tumours. The work in specialized teams allows the best use of exercise medicine for each person with oncological disease.

Attention: The workshop does not include practical parts, which are delegated to specific courses.
