The course will deal with the theory, evaluation and programming of effective interventions for acute and persistent musculoskeletal pain. Subjective examination, objective evaluation and intervention for musculoskeletal disorders will be a fundamental part of the course. The level of teaching is in line with the Master in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Curtin University in Perth (Western Australia), as the teacher is coordinator and Senior Lecturer at the same for the practical unit "Musculoskeletal Science Advanced Competencies".
The different components that determine the most up-to-date understanding of musculoskeletal pain will be analyzed, ie the components that make up the Musculoskeletal Clinical Translation Framework and their application based on the elements assessed for the individual patient with musculoskeletal pain.
At the end of the course the participant will reach the understanding and the application of the best management for the single patient with acute or persistent pain.
During the 2 days of the course the teacher will deal with 4 clinical cases.
