Rational and objectives of the course:
In the acute phase, stroke patients with associated neglect present a worse functional outcome than the same category of patients without eminattention (Nijoboer, 2013). This syndrome also appears to be among the negative prognostic factors for functional recovery more than other cognitive disorders (such as aphasia - Paolucci, 1996, Appelros, 2003, Jehkonen, 2000). Patients with neglect generally have a longer period of hospitalization and also a greater clinical risk during the hospital as high risk of falls, prolonged restoring and a later recovery of the antigravity control of the trunk and of the verticalization. Today more techniques are available for the rehabilitation of the eminattention that this course want to discuss in light of the evidence of therapeutic efficacy in order to know the possible approaches for integration of neurocognitive – neuromotor treatment
